Born in London, 1966.
After taking a degree in Documentary Photography at the University of Wales, Newport, I moved to Italy where I've been living and working as a photographer since 2002. Apart from my commercial work I continue to undertake local projects for books and exhibitions, I teach and present workshops on photographic practice. I was a Hasselblad Masters Finalist in 2021 and my work has been quite widely published and exhibited.
Past projects have included; 'Vukovar', commissioned by the BBC to document the town 10 years after the Balkans War, it was exhibited in Paris and featured on LensCulture; 'Bosco', a quiet, on-going study of natural woodland, exhibited in Milan and Pordenone; 'Isolamenti', a trilogy of projects looking at the social and cultural effects of the Covid pandemic, featured in the Covid-19 Visual Project and exhibited in Bologna and San Donà di Piave; and 'Co-ordinates', a series of large-scale digital mosaics using satellite imagery to explore themes around the global economy, infrastructure and energy production, exhibited in Berlin and locally here in Italy.
