Stephen Shaw is an MA photographer with a BA first class honors in photography he has been published in Stern, Crime magazine Germany and Fused Magazine UK. Shaws online published work features with Petrie, semizine, photograd and float. He specialises in semiotics, social documentary and portraiture, working within street/documentary and has self published 4 photo books Last Stop, The Gift, Omens of Murder and Queenstown. Stephens work focuses on social cleansing and open secrets in society which became part of his life. He would like to work collaboratively having photo-books published with large publishers and feature in more gallery exhibitions creating unique experiences, producing work within what he loves. Somewhat uniquely Stephen has used sound recordings and dreams in his practice and also de ja vu to take photographs whilst with sitters.
